How do I know if my body is over-acidic?


Weight gain is a sure sign of being over acidic, as is water retention. As a protective mechanism, our bodies create fat to bind and hold acid residues away from our vital organs. This is why we pack on pounds just under the skin on our hips, thighs and stomachs. An acidic person can actually look puffy as the body retains water to dilute acids in the system. Edema and puffy bags under the eyes are typical acidic traits.

Skin conditions like acne, ruddiness, and blotchiness are also signs that over acidification in the body, causes acids to come to the surface. Even more serious conditions like eczema and psoriasis are manifestations of acids that take a strong hold and erupt through the skin which is sometimes called the “third kidney”, because of its filtering ability.

The body can also rob the skin of precious moistures leaving a person looking parched or dehydrated. Premature wrinkling and aging are more prevalent in people who choose an over acidic lifestyle. Many other serious symptoms can appear in the internal environment of our body’s rivers and streams. Eventually they can become sluggish and polluted.

If a person doesn’t make changes in their diet and lifestyle and they continue to bombard their systems with acidic foods and drinks, organs and tissues become affected.

Diagnoses such as diabetes, cancer, fibromyalgia, and CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome) are common. Acidic diets and lifestyles are so hard on the body that it’s like making an energy withdrawal from our body bank accounts instead of an energy deposit. We always come up with a deficit!

Otto Warburg, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize in Medicine in 1932, stated the following:

The main thing to consider here is that everything we eat and drink affects the way we look, think, act, and feel. If a person chooses a highly acidic diet and lifestyle they set themselves up for proliferation of certain types of microbes which thrive in an acidic terrain. These are referred to as endotoxins and mycotoxins which have yeast and fungal base forms that can wreak havoc in our systems.

Many of you have experienced or heard of yeast infections. Sometimes they are re-occurring. Headaches can also be a signal that the brain is somehow connected to a toxic bowel. Just like our earth’s environmental pollution, this needs to be cleaned up in order to bring relief from inflammation and pain. General aches and pains such as in arthritis, bursitis, and even carpal tunnel syndrome involve acidic saturations of the blood, lymph, and affected tissues.

My own experiences

I'm so grateful that I can share this with you!

I did not know how my life was going to change after I started taking alkaline water with green powder.


I thought I was living healthy - I was eating mostly organic food but at the same time I was feeling tired for years, had headaches and pain in my joints.

I had overweight, skin problems and every day I was feeling irritated or angry - often already when I woke up. I was sugar addicted and had candida.

I studied a lot around health issues and tried different diets. I knew I could not get all the vitamins and minerals from my food so I eat lot of supplements.

I tried to choose organic food products and started to check what my supplements are made of....I was surprised! Most of them had fructose, preservatives and other adhesives or additives. Why am I eating this crap?
I was trying to clean my body and at the same time I'm putting several unnatural items into my body! No way!

I wanted to find high quality organic supplement which is made of pure natural veggies.

My friend recommended this idea and at first I was very sceptic. I had tried several diets and didn't get any help.
I wanted to give a chance. I thought that what if these works on me and I won't try?

The science behind the products was also logical so I started.

I decided not to change my diet but only start to drink my Greens - first two liters and then three per day.

At the first day drinking my Greens I noticed how my energy level went up.

During the first two days I had a bit headache but learned that's cause my body is detoxifying. I noticed that my sugar cravings went down and I was not over-reacting so often.

After couple weeks I noticed that my skin is looking brighter and pain is gone - no headaches, no pain in the joints.

This was a miracle! At the same time I started to loose weight and in the first 5 weeks I lost 10 kgs!

Funny thing was that my cravings changed! Earlier my favorite snack was red wine and cheese and after that chocolate bar or ice cream - now I was craving more salads, avocado etc. I started to prepare pH balanced meals and have now a lot of delicious recipes and can't wait to share these with you!

This all happened after I started to change my body chemistry from acidic to alkaline. 


How You Can Guarantee Your Health With Alkaline Minerals



Sufficient alkaline minerals is essential to good health. Your body really needs you to minimize the acids you consume and keep putting alkali in. When we consume acids, your body uses the alkaline substances in your body (calcium from bones, for example) to neutralize these acids which causes havoc. The body only has a very tiny supply of alkaline buffers and so by giving the body an abundance of alkalinity we not only ease this burden but also give the body the tools it needs to work optimally.

The four main alkaline minerals are calcium, magnesium, potassium and sodium (clean, not refined table salt). These are abundant in fresh vegetables (particularly greens), and I advise you to eat plenty each day!

The study concluded “that the ingestion of a multi-mineral supplement is associated with both a significant increase in blood and urinary pH”.
Note on Sodium:
We are talking about natural and pure sodium, not table salt or the salt added to refined foods.

Today’s common table salt is a poison that has nothing in common with natural liquid colloidal salt. The Scientific Proof That Alkaline Minerals Are Critical To Your Health


Recent scientific research into human health, sickness & disease has shown with increasing evidence that living an acid-lifestyle is extremely detrimental to health & that by living alkaline you can increase your health, energy, vitality, immune system, youthfulness and protect yourself from disease.

As recently as October 2009, a Cambridge University study published in the highly respected British Journal of Nutrition stated:

The concept of diet-induced ‘acidosis’ as a cause of disease has been a subject of interest for more than a century. The present article reviews the history of our evolving understanding of physiological pH, the physiological support for the concept of ‘acidosis’, the causes of acidosis, how it is recognized, its short-term effects as well as the long-term clinical relevance of preventative measures, and the research support for normalization of pH. The available research makes a compelling case that diet-induced acidosis…is a real phenomenon, and has a significant, clinical, long-term pathophysiological effect that should be recognized and potentially counterbalanced by dietary means.1

The researchers, Pizzornoa, Frassettoa and Katzinger have clearly identified that acidosis
(increased acidity in the blood) is a very real threat to our health. Furthermore, research has shown that the effects of acidosis can directly contribute to various cancers, arthritis, osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, depression, Crohn’s disease and kidney disease. Yes, all of the top five killers in Western society and a whole lot more.

Alkaline Diet & Cancer
In March 2009, Robey, Baggett, Kirkpatrick et al published a paper in the American Association for Cancer Research Journal proving that alkaline minerals (in this case NaHCO3) that raise the extracellular pH of cancer tumor cells and prevent metastasis. Their research shows that the pH of the tumors are always acidic and by using highly alkaline minerals to raise the pH – the growth of the cancer (and involvement of lymph nodes) is prevented.

Why alkaline minerals and your pH matters


We all should know the basics about pH balance, cause it's so crucial for our health and wellbeing. Just as your temperature has to stay at 98.6 F or 36.5 C degrees (and your body will do whatever it takes to keep it at that level) your body has to maintain a pH of 7.365, according to Dr. Robert O. Young, Director at the pH Miracle Living Center in California.

If you eat, drink and live a lifestyle that is acidic, the stress it puts on your body to maintain this pH of 7.365 directly leads to sickness and disease. Your body is naturally acid forming – your natural bodily processes, metabolism and the body’s removal of wastes and toxins lead to small amounts of acid by-products. To neutralize this we have a small alkaline buffering system that keeps this 7.365 pH level in our blood.

And this buffer used to be 100% adequate…until our modern world happened. Now a diet of pizza, coffee, fried foods, chocolate, soda, alcohol, white bread, cheese, microwave meals and trans-fats plus a lifestyle of stress, pollution, chemicals and toxins means that we are constantly pushing our body to the max to try and deal with this constant, overwhelming attack of acids.


To put this in context, the pH scale (that runs from 1-14) is logarithmic. This means that pH of 6 is 10 times more acidic than pH of 7, meaning a pH of 5 is 100 times more acidic than pH of 7 and pH of 4 is 1000 times more acidic, etc. Coke has a pH of between 2 and 3 – pH 2.5 is almost 500,000 times more acidic than neutral water, and you need 32 glasses of neutral (pH 7) water to counteract the consumption of one glass of Cola. So you can see how a diet filled with meats, dairy, sodas and alcohol would quickly deplete these buffers.
